Imported from Brazil, this ring is a little big for your average finger. It is purple tinted quartz is a gem grade quality specimen. When lava erupted in the Andes mountain large gas bubbles were trapped in the rock as it cooled. Over the thousands of year the mineral water seeped into the rock and formed crystals. These amethyst geodes look like giant, hollow fingers. These rings are cut from the geodes and polished. Beautiful specimens.
