Product Description
The term breccia (bre • chee • uh) specifically applies to extrusive igneous rock that is formed when hot, gooey volcanic bombs form masses as they land on the ground and stick together. Kind of like a cinnamon pull apart. This breccia was formed about 800 years ago in Northern California when a vent on Glass Mountain erupted. These samples come from northern California near Glass Mountain.
