• Individual Grade Level Lab Books
We have created and offer grade level appropriate, lab books for anklebiters in Kindergarten on up to 8th grade where teaching the lab idea is the easy pert of the day. Each lab book has its own unique set of ideas so you won’t have to worry about the teachers in the grade before you stealing your thunder. Over 17,000 teachers from Kindergarten on up through 8th grade are currently using our lab activities in their classrooms. That’s pretty big herd, and growing.

• Correlated to the State Standards
Every lab in this program has been selected specifically to meet State Standards which have been established for science programs in your state. There is no guesswork, each lab has State Standards clearly identified at the start of the activity. These are state lab books written for your state standards.

• Built on Scientific Method
Every lab emphasizes the scientific method. For the teacher, we provide a complete prep sheet that gives you background information, objectives, content correlations, lab prep, lab safety with chemical information, answers to the question on the kid pages and extension ideas. . For the kids we provide an overview of the experiment, vocabulary, list of lab materials, provide clear, easy to understand directions and have a place to record data. There are also assessment sheets so that you can create lab books or science portfolios for the kids.

They reference the state objectives for the teacher and is supplemented with lots of fun illustrations and photographs for the kids. They are user friendly for the first time science teachers as well as full of new twists which, even a seasoned veterans will enjoy.

• Teacher Friendly
We provide the background information to help present the lab activity, appropriate vocabulary, clear directions, data table and graph templates. Mix in lots of cartoons to take the edge off the more difficult topics and you have teachers who are more successful in the science lab.

• Classroom Tested
Every lab activity has been test-driven by a pile of Guinea kids before it ever makes the lab book. We watch and listen, adapt and re-write, and when it produces a threshold number of popped eyeballs, spontaneous ooh aahs and smiles, it makes the cut.

• Safety Emphasized
All labs are reviewed so they meet the Safety Standards for public education in the state. We even have a one week Safety Course that is included with the program.

• Stimulating Demonstrations
It’s not just the lab activities, we also provide teachers with exciting demonstrations, quite often presented as discrepant events so that the kids learn to evaluate what they see, ask questions and work through the scientific process to develop their own understandings.
